Salman Haider visited Indian Institute of Management, Indore, Learning Resource Centre (Library) on December 2, 2016. 

IIM-Indore has an excellent library that uses cutting-edge modern technologies in Library and Information Science and Librarianship Studies & Information Technology. Its Library is using VTLS Virtua as the Integrated Library System, RFID technology, and many databases for students, researchers, and faculty.

The catalog is still in AACR2, not the new internationally accepted standard for cataloging Resource Description & Access (RDA).

The IIM Indore Library called the "Learning Centre" with its modern collection of information and knowledge resources and innovative information services fulfil an important role for students, faculty, and the surrounding community in their intellectual pursuits. It is a hybrid library with the state-of-the-art technological applications. The Library holds knowledge resources predominantly related to management and allied subjects. The entire Library collection including the CD-ROM databases and the online databases are made available through Institute’s network. Users can access the online databases and also find out the real-time availability of library materials from their own computer terminals. The Library offers a range of information services to support the learning process set to the highest professional standards. IIMI Library is an active member of IIM Consortia & INDEST Consortia. The library has an extensive collection of resources, such as ABI/Inform Complete, ACM Digital Library, Business Monitor Online (BMO), EBSCO Business Source Complete,,, Proquest Dissertation & Theses, Taylor and Francis, and Science Direct.
